DESIGNED PLANT COMMUNITIES

This workshop will explore the beauty of arranging plant materials with both ecology and aesthetics in mind. Topics will include a quick review of planting design elements, then dive into advanced planting models, then we’ll explore designed plant communities. Some basic graphics of plant symbols, drawing techniques for showing plant layers, plus a bit about drawing in elevation will also be covered. This is a hands-on workshop, so please come prepared to learn, draw, design and have fun.

Lisa Nunamaker
Award-winning designer, artist and educator, Lisa Nunamaker is the creator of the company, Paper Garden Workshop, a spirited place to learn garden design and landscape graphics.
